WET RAT

At young age I was kicked to the street
I've never learned to talk sweet
My scars don't come clean in the water
Ran with the packs of ill-repute
If my morals are all destitute
It's cause my mind is deep in the gutter

It's been dog eat dog for way too long
I walked far just walking wrong
It's not possible to turn back now
Trapped by my own contradiction
Of your pain and my affliction
Don't look for change where there's no how

IN THIS WORLD ALL MUST DIE
AND I HAVE NO TEARS LEFT TO CRY
IN THIS WORLD ALL MUST DIE

AND I HAVE NO TEARS LEFT TO CRY

You grew up amongst a different kind
If you think I've lost my mind
You're right to question my mentality
So pay no mind to this wet rat
Who doesn't know just where it's at
Cause it's living in a different reality

See, I built my own world around me
I had my own puppets crown me
You'll find no better King of the Swine
You'll excuse me if I don't courtesy
My reality is just a fantasy
May not be your way and it sure ain't mine

IN THIS WORLD ALL MUST DIE
AND I HAVE NO TEARS LEFT TO CRY
IN THIS WORLD ALL MUST DIE

AND I HAVE NO TEARS LEFT TO CRY

At young age I was kicked to the street
I never learned to talk sweet
My scars don't come clean in the water
I know the meaning of hard times
I learned to fear when the bell chymes
Cause I've seen too many sheep led to slaughter

I'D WIPE YOUR TEARS AWAY
BUT I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY
I'D WIPE YOUR TEARS AWAY
BUT I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY

WORK GO AWAY

Go away, work go away
Take your troubles and strife
I need all my time to play
So, come back another day
When I'm not so busy in my life

They tell me to get smart
Because work's the priority
I don't know where to start
I just don't have the heart
For work, like the majority

WORK IS NOT FOR EVERYONE
I DON'T NEED A BALL AND CHAIN
I'M WORKING AT HAVING FUN
AND TO DO MY JOB WELL DONE
YOU WORK AND I WON'T COMPLAIN

Get a job, is all they tell me
But I keep busy enough
I'm working at living free
Because in today's society
You gotta pay for all your stuff

Working drives me berserk
Got a Doctor's note, you see
I don't mean to be a jerk
But I don't need any work
All I need is just the money

WORK IS NOT FOR EVERYONE
I DON'T NEED A BALL AND CHAIN
I'M WORKING AT HAVING FUN
I'M DOING MY JOB WELL DONE
YOU WORK AND I DON'T COMPLAIN

SOMEBODY

A simple unknown living alone
Ain't got no money to abuse
Wishes he was out but stays home
Just writing and singing the blues

AND HE WISHES HE WAS SOMEBODY
OR MAYE JUST SOMEBODY ELSE
CAUSE WHEN YOU'RE SOMEBODY
YOU KNOW EVERYBODY
DON'T GOTTA DO NOTHING FOR YOURSELF

But he says, No. I'm nothing like them
To admit his weakness, gotta be strong
The world falls apart all around him
he just goes on singing his song

AND HE WISHES HE WAS SOMEBODY
OR MAYE JUST SOMEBODY ELSE
CAUSE WHEN YOU'RE SOMEBODY
YOU KNOW EVERYBODY
DON'T GOTTA DO NOTHING FOR YOURSELF

A simple unknown living alone
Ain't go no money to abuse
Wishes he was out but stays home
Just writing and singing the blues

AND HE WISHES HE WAS SOMEBODY
OR MAYE JUST SOMEBODY ELSE
CAUSE WHEN YOU'RE SOMEBODY
YOU KNOW EVERYBODY
DON'T GOTTA DO NOTHING FOR YOURSELF (repeat)
